Comments:
It's been a fantastic heifer show this morning. Please give these exhibitors a round of applause for not only bringing out great cattle, but bringing these cattle a long, long way and then having them look this good. I'm not one to predict what will happen in the fall, but I feel these heifers will stand the most competition. Today our Junior Champion will be our Spring Yearling. I said she was flawless in class and I like her even better now. She is not the biggest for her age, but certainly the best. She has very, very, very few faults and exemplifies that dairy quality that I'm looking for when judging cattle. Our Reserve Junior Champion follows her in her femininity, blending of parts and overall correctness, prettiness and style. Our Honorable Mention heifer is just massive, but not quite as feminine or showing as much breed character in her head and neck as our two pretty heifers above.
