"The heifer show last night and today have been tremendous. Chris and I have had the pleasure of judging extremely high level of animals - some are the best in the world. As you see the heifers we've pulled out, you should see a pattern of what we like. Long, lean heifers who are long in the neck region with beautiful sweep and depth of rib. Beautiful bone through the hock and still have the width and strength you need. How about a rousing applause for all the heifers out her today. Now I'll select your champion, reserve and honorable mention."

"It's been a terrific show and now I've picked my champion. The advantage goes to the Junior Yearling for her beautiful lean, long neck and more feminine in the head with more correct slope from hooks to pins, more desirable rump structure. The reserve heifer uses the way her neck comes out of her shoulder with a more correct rib structure to go over the very angular Senior Calf with a lot of width to her chest."
