"What an outstanding class of Sr. 3-year-olds. The top five or six cows at the top of the class are just outstanding. And our cow that leads off the class does so on her overall package. She's not the tallest in the class but she's the most balanced. She's got great spring and openness of rib and great veination throughout. She's got that silky hide and a beautiful mammary system - a wide udder with lots of capacity and quality. Its that advantage that puts her over the beautiful cow in second. She's also got more power and strength and more width of chest and depth of body. Second over third in a closer placing because of her upstandingness and more correct rump structure and pin setting. Our great uddered cow in third places over fourth even though she's not the tallest, but I appreciate her balance and correctness. She's got a great mammary system and is higher and wider in the rear, with more correct leg set and thurl placement."
