In this class of winter yearlings, we have a very handy winner; a heifer that excels the rest of the class in her overall parts.  She is the tallest and longest in the class and does that with dairyness and width throughout. She has that advantage over the heifer in second in that she has more spring to the rib and also the way she handles her hind legs while having a more feminine head and neck over this similarly dairy heifer in second. Second over third is a closer placing, but the heifer in second follows better with my first place heifer in that she has more overall dairyness, although I admit that the heifer in third tracks better on her hind legs, but is not dairy or open enough to go into second place.  The heifer in third places over the heifer in fourth in that she is more youthful throughout and is more correct in her hind legs and more correct when viewd from behind than this heifer that is due in december in fourth.
