"Well another great class.  One of the things that I think we need to look for in heifers is heifers that can make good cows, not heifers that already look like cows.  And that's what we have in our first place heifer.  She's got that style, that balance, that hardness over the top and a correct set to the rump giving her the advantage over the second place heifer.  She's a little more feminine through the front end and I do prefer the slope from hooks to pins.  Second over the big heifer in third because she shows more overall balance and femininity than the heifer in third.  Third over fourth because of that hard top and her slope from hooks to pins over the large heifer in fourth."
