"Well ladies and gentlemen, it's been a great day. Tyler and I would like to thank World Dairy Expo for the opportunity to do this. It's been a phenomenal experience. I think people should have the idea at this point in the day what kind of cattle we like - cattle that have great udders, that beautiful combination of dairyness and strength and very useful kind of cattle.

Before I pick our champions, I'd like to thank Tyler for his assistance. He's been a great friend and a great help. He's a young man with a great future in the business.

I'd like to thank my wife Amber. She always keeps things together when I'm on the road.

I lost a good teacher and supporter a couple of years ago in my dad. He was a great teacher and hopefully I retained a little of what he's taught me.

I'd like to thank the breeders and exhibitors, but that goes without saying. And also the ring stewards - they have done a tremendous job and I appreciate your help.

For Grand Champion, we have three great cows we've selected and we feel that they rise to the top fairly handily. We picked our Grand and Reserve for the reasons we just stated in the Senior Champion class. We are using this Intermediate Champion for Honorable Mention. She's a beautiful young cow with balance, style and dairy quality.

Congratulations to all!"
