"What another extremely nice class of fall calves. I'm starting with a calf that has an extremely nice combination of dairyness and strength. She's got a wide, flat rump and a more correct thurl setting that places her above our extremely stylish black heifer in second. The second place heifer I missed in the first pull, but I've got her where she belongs. I love her extreme style and her rib. I'm giving her an advantage on her rump structure today. She keeps it a little more level at all times. Our third place heifer likes to have her thurls up sometimes and I'd like to see her have a little more spring in the flank to get up any higher in the class. But I like the way she tracks on her feet and that puts her over the fourth place heifer today."
